This past week Varlo traveled to Kona, Hawaii for the 2024 Men's Ironman World Championships.
The week began with our Mahalo Mixer at the Kona Canoe Club hosted in partnership with the Kona Run Club. Athletes, fans, race course volunteers and brand executives joined Varlo in the festivities, sharing drinks and discussing their anticipation for the grueling race ahead.
The race got off to a strong start for Varlo athlete Trevor Foley after making up his time gap to the chase group which he incurred during the swim by crushing the old bike course record. But an unfortunate crash heading into T2 put an early end to Trevor's race.
Through all of the disappointment for Trevor, the one positive that shines through is confirmation for his ability to one day win this legendary race.
